Founded in September 2023, 3-Shepherd is a DIFC-based fintech platform licensed by the DFSA (Dubai Financial Services Authority). We exist to solve a universal problem: how do you safely transact with someone you don't know online? Our journey began with a friend who got scammed despite years in banking and fraud prevention. That moment sparked a mission — to create a digital safety net for everyday people and small businesses left behind by legacy systems.
Despite all his experience and knowledge of fraud prevention, our friend still fell victim to a sophisticated scam while selling his car online. This wasn't just about losing money — it was about the realization that if someone with his expertise could be fooled, what chance did ordinary people have?
That conversation wouldn't leave us alone. We knew there had to be a better way.
